Default Forward Controls

I have a set of SMT Machining, Tribal Forward Controls for sale they are on my 2009 Street Bob have around 1200 miles on them work perfect have had no problems with them,just going in a different direction.Heres the link to what they look like http://smtmachining.com/products.asp?PRODUCT_ID=43

I believe they are regular,but I did put heel rest on them for my personal comfort(They wont be sold with them,)on long rides it made it easier...I am 5'11

They are sick controls but at 5' 7" I can barely reach most of my buddies forwards. Has anyone shorter than you been able to comfortably operate the controls?

My brother in law is your size and he had rode with and without the heel rest the heel rest make it ok for him,without the rest he doesnt like them says to much fatigue on his legs.
