This is a really high-quality product. The frame is nicely made and the backing plate is very solid - thick and sturdy with 4 chrome set screws. The mounting bracket looks precision machined. The powdercoat on both pieces is flawless. The wiring is ~20" and has a stainless steel braided covering. You can't even tell the LEDs are there until you turn them on. Bright enough to illuminate the plate without being too bright.
This is a vertical mount design. My state requires a horizontal mount. It's the only reason I'm selling it.
Great condition. I needed a lit plate, so I made a horizontal bracket and installed it. Used 300-400 miles. I soldered another 2' of black wiring and added the pin connectors so it snaps into the 2-pin ACC connector of the wiring harness under the seat. (not the best soldering job, but it works fine)
MSRP is $229. Best Price I've ever seen is $194 at Dennis Kirk.
Will sell for $120 plus shipping.
