I have a head pipe for a Switchback that the cat was cut out of. I had a professional welder at work do the job. He ground off the weld at the transition piece where the muffler slips on, ct the cat out and TIG welded it back together.

I've run the pipe for about 400 miles and had no problems with it. If you want them you can have the heat shields for the pipe as well. They have some scratches on them from me accidentally setting them down on the garage floor shiny side down.

Pictures of the heat shield scratches. The two heatshields that cover the pipes each have a scratch. The one that covers the CAT area doesn't appear to have one.
