Security System Issue
2015 RGS developed a security system issue (two weeks old). Security intermittently prompts me to enter my pin once turned to IGN and sometimes it engages and sometimes it has to be turned off and turned back to IGN. A delay of sorts. Took it back to the dealer and thought maybe my fob battery needed replacing, but still does the same thing. Next is the security antenna, however dealer hesitates to replace it and wanting to call their tech support for any issues under warranty work and I will not know anything until next week. Well, so happen that I also own a 13 RG. I swapped security antenna out of curiosity and still does the same thing. This leads me to believe that my security module is not functioning as it should. Has anyone experience a similar issue? I am sure my service department will try to make it right, so no worries there. However, I am just trying to figure out what might be causing it. Maybe some sort of radio interference, but if this is the case my 13 RG would be having a similar problem, but it isn't. Any ideas or thoughts would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
