Can someone give me some help programming my remote pager. I follow the instructions in the manual and it won't encode to my bikes alarm. This is what my directions say to do... 1.) Press and hold the pager receiver on button, the pager receiver will flash and vibrate to indicate it is in the ON mode. Continue to hold the button until the LED indicators begin to flash one after another and the receiver begins to beep once every two seconds. The pager receiver is now in the encoding mode. (good up to this point) 2.) Press the Security System Key FOB once to arm the security system. The pager receiver will indicate that it has been successfully encoded by beeping four times. Mine only beeps twice and does not work. I had a tech at my dealership try it and it did the same thing, he suggested returning the pager and getting another thinking it might be a bad pager. Tried that and the same thing. Any help would be appreciated.
I believe so, the siren chirps when arming and disarming. When armed the siren works when activated, key FOB works to arm and disarm so I am assuming the system is okay, I really did not dig into it to verify the antenna is okay, but if Key FOB's work I would think it is. I had a parts guy tell me the directions with the pager devise don't always work, let a tech program it. I guess that's what I will have to try when I take it in for the 1000 mi.
The antenna is only used for communicating with the pager so the key FOB working is not a true test.
I can only go by my experience. I didn't have the antenna wire hooked up on mine and couldn't encode it.
Once I hooked up the antenna, it encoded exactly as the directions described.

Was the system dealer installed?
correct; what he said........I have the antenna too; but not the pager. I'll get it later.
MyBluOx, thanks for responding but I think you are confusing the pager with the key FOB. The key Fob is for arming and disarming the alarm system and it works fine 2 chirps when arming and 1 chirp disarming. When wearing the pager while away from the armed bike, it will notify you up to 1/4-1/2 mile away if the alarm is set off. The problem is I cannot encode the pager to my bikes alarm. I did take the seat off to check and see if the antenna was on, I really could not see any of the alarm devices, alarm, siren antenna etc. so I left it alone and will be bringing it in for the 1000 mi next week and I'll have the tech check it out.
When programing your Pager, you need to press the buttom long enough to fell a vibration and until the two led lights blink alternate. I have the same problem at first until I hold the button a little bit longer. Hope this helps.
I found the answer to my question. I will post the answer just in case someone else runs into a problem. I purchased the new pager 11 for my o6 fatboy with factory installed alarm system including smart siren. Pager would not encode to the alarm system. Turns out HD uses the old style Smart Siren and the pager 11 is not compatible with it so you need to purchase the smart siren 11 and switch it out with the factory installed smart siren. The parts guyat HD learned something new today. Another calculated decision by HD to sell us more accessories.
