Hi
I have a 2006 Harley road King that I'm suspecting has a short. I just put in a new battery and took the bike out for a long ride. Then I come back six days later and the bike is completely dead. I then have to charge it up and get it running. And I've checked the charging system and when its running its perfectly fine I just don't know why the bike is completely dead after a few days.
Just because the battery is new doesn't mean it was charged. Did you put it on a tender and did it come up to charge. Make sure the cables are clean, and please let us know if it was on a tender.
