First off, I want to say that I did look through about 10 pages of a search I did on this, so I apologize if this is a duplicate question.
I have a 2000 Ultra Classic, and I purchased the Radiantz Rings(or whatever they all them) for the front and regular red LED's (flat) for the rear turns. Now, they don't hyperflash, they just don't flash at all. I ran to the local Autozone and got a couple load equalizers. Wired them as I have seen on a million YouTube videos. Still no flash. Hazards flash fine, even with out the load equalizer. I installed them right after the plug that "feeds" the rear lights. One end to the Hot wire to the turn signal, and one end to the ground wire. I also tried to just ground the other end to the chassis. No difference.
First question I have is have you checked the fuse? Have you put the factory bulbs back in to see if the circuits work (one note is that if you do this ensure that the load balancers are not connected)? I'm not sure but the Hazards may flash on a different circuit.
I did not check the fuse(s). I did put it back to stock with no resistor and stock bulbs, so I could ride, and it is normal. I am going to tear back into this week-end.
All signals work before I install the LED's. Plug the LED's in and they are solid. I installed, temperarily, pins in the plug that supplies power to the rear lights. With a voltmeter, I have battery voltage at the wires, with the signal on. Attach the load equalizer, and the voltage goes to 0(zero) volts. But the signal lights are still on. I connected the resistor to the left turn signal power wire(purple), and the other end to the black wire and I tried connecting to the battery directly. Still, the signal light is solid on.
I just tried reversing the wires. Connecting the power from the turn signal (purple wire) to the black wire, and then the ground wire from the plug (black wire) to the purple wire to the lights. Or course, now they didn't light at all. Put it back, again, so I can ride tomorrow.
Any other ideas? I'm ready to send these damn things back!
Something else I could not find. I have two load equalizers, which I had installed right after the rear lighting plug under the seat and right on the fender. One for the right and one for the left. Do I need load equalizers for the left and right for the front also?
