Default Load equalizer question

I am planning on using these LED turn inserts, and I'm sure I'll need a load equalizer. It's a 2001 RK.

1. Will the turns still work ok if front is LED and rear is incandescent?

2. Is the Custom Dynamics equalizer the best bet?

3. Anyone ever make their own load equalizer? It's just a resistor, right?

You will be fine with just the front led.

The Badlands unit made it easy.Plug and play.Fit right underneath the fuse block after I trimmed the mounting tabs off with a pair of dykes.

put it together and give it a try...if the turn signals flash fast, then you will need a load resistor.

You can make them easy or get the Custom Dynamics ones...

I have a "vintage" Custom Dynamics brake-turn signal flashing module with red rear LEDs and they worked just fine as is until I put LEDs in the front also...then I had to add load resistors so they would not flash fast.
