So far I have only fitted LED indicators to the rear of my Street Bob (2011) but they seem quite dull (not as bright as the non-led front indicators). Does anybody know, do I need a different flasher unit. I will be fitting LED,s to the front any day now, so a goo chance to change it if ness
Nah, man, they should be bright when you install them. A lot of the LED signals I've seen don't look that bright from an angle but are hella bright looking at them straight on.
The 'flasher unit' or signal stabilizer should only be necessary if you have fast flashing. What kind of LEDs did you install? I've done Custom Dynamics on two different bikes last year and they're both bright. Real bright.
My custom dynamics LED's are a fair bit brighter than stock bulbs, but not extreme and really only visible when the brakes are applied.
Heck I put the dynamic ringz up front that show white for running lights and turn to Amber when the turn signal is activated, and they actually help throw a tiny bit more light to the front of the bike. Certainly look at connections, your charging system, and battery if they aren't bright.
Yeah, I have the dynamic rings on my SG and when the white running lights are on, they throw some light.
CD also recommends NOT using any dielectric grease, too - they even tell you to clean out your sockets. Might want to pull them and clean them if you didn't already.
