Dual halogen
I have a 13' ultra and would like to upgrade my headlight. I can't afford the daymaker but thought about buying the dual halogen set up and possibly running HID bulbs. Is this even possible? Good idea or bad?

The dual halogen is better than previous versions, however, I tried putting several different bulbs in my 14 SGS. The reflector really isn't designed for HID or LED replacement bulbs. They were brighter but the light wasn't "focused "no real improvement at night. I broke down and bought a day maker. At the least look into truck lite or another complete unit you will happier.

Op: I have the dual halogen that fits a '12 Ultra...and should fit yours. I replaced it with a Daymaker. IMHO...I'm not sure the Daymaker is much better. But, with what I spent on the Daymaker, I'm going to stick to it.
