Default No power to rear right signal

The bike is a 1996 FatboyThe rear turn signal on the right side has stopped blinkingBulb looks OK I have tested the ground and the ground is OK. There is no power coming to the wire that's attaching to the Bulb it's a purple wire

what should be my next step where should I check is the best method to track back from the lights? if I do that it looks like I'm going to have to remove possibly the rear fender?

thanks

I disconnected the harness that seems to be going to the back lights

there is three pins that show power

one of which is a common pin and the other two alternates in showing power when I signal left or right

meaning one is showing constant power regardless of the direction of the signal and the other two pins are alternating with the direction of the signal

from this I am guessing I am getting power up to this point and the problem lies from here back to the signal?
