Default intermintant problem

Ok......07 EGUC......43K miles......
this has happened to me twice......once a few months ago........once today

start bike......all gauges are in the good......

After market Biketronics 4180 amp is the only residual draw...all else stock

Driving down the street, see the battery and engine light on, voltage shows about 9 volts.........pulled over and revved the engine up to about 3500RPM........charging kicked right in.......right back up to 14volts, battery and engine lights go off.

Checked the voltage from stator......all good.
Voltage regulator checks good..........
Cables all good and tight with dielectric grease at battery.

Whats dieing on me.....regulator or stator?

Don't want to be left hanging somewhere.......

Thanks

No codes? Check voltage at bike meter with a known good meter.

EDIT: Oops, just saw you got idiot lights. What are the codes?

Primary oil stink?

I'd kinda lean toward intermittent bad connections or regulator.

code P0562 low voltage.

Voltage at battery is good

Haven't check the stink factor...

Battery checks good at AUTOZONE under load.......

path of least resistance, gonna replace regulator first as replacing the stator is a PIA!
