Default Right front blinker not working properly

Ok guys..need some input on the issue with the front blinker on right side..its a 2000 softail Springer...stock bullet style blinkers..non led..the running/blinker is not blinking ..running light is dim...rear blinker is functioning fine...noticed the blinker indicates on the dash stays on..hit button very faint to no blink at all...all I did was take the bulb out..put it back in and this is how it started acting....any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad bulb or something is crossed up or damaged in the socket/wire.

It has nothing to do with the TSSM, think about it... the front and rear signals share the same circuit, if it were the TSSM, both front and rear would have the problem.

The TSSM has nothing to do with the running light.

Sounds like a poor connection, maybe a bad/corroded socket, bad wire or a problem at the connector.

Dan and Ed....thank you for your responses....after doing some trouble shooting it appears to be the socket in that side blinker...i swapped the blinker from the left side to right...worked fine...i even took one of the old blinkers and hooked that up just to be safe...that worked fine...so something went bad in that turn signal...thanks again for the help
