2015 Clutch Interlock

2015 Clutch Interlock
My bike is a 2015 Ultra Classic low.
I just bought the 71500248B lighted switches and installed them last night. After performing the install, two issues came up. One after install and doing the clutch interlock check the bike no longer starts in any gear with the clutch pulled in. While this is probably okay, but there are times when the bike does need to be started in gear while the clutch is pulled in. Such as a stall at a light. Stop sign etc. (which rarely happens) and unable to take the time to locate neutral and start. I am not sure if this is a real concern of if it affects other aspects of the bike, but as of the ride in to work this morning it seems fine. The other issue is that the right side (throttle side) lower joystick arrows do not light up (I know the joystick itself does not light up, but the arrows that are at the base do not). The left side (clutch side) does light up, so I believe this is defective. The joystick and PTT button work, even though I do not have the CB on my bike, the PTT button pushed in gives me the message on the screen that the CB is not installed, which tells me it works and the system is looking for it. A bit disappointed in the lighting up of the switch as it is supposed to be (even the photo on HD site shows the arrows light up). Hoping for a quick answer as to the clutch interlock.

The instructions for those switches are quite specific about checking the clutch interlock, also recommend referring to the FSM. If you followed the instructions, its seems that everything should work! If not I recommend you retrace your steps carefully.
