How long have you been riding?
This is serious, from experience, novice riders tend to ride slower because the sensation of speed is new. I rarely look at my speedometer unless I'm in a speed trap area or setting the cruise. Ride with the flow and time should not differ.
Get this app velcro or tape it right under your Speedo, the numbers are big very easy to read while moving. DigiHud Speedometer it works great and is very accurate.
the electronic hd speedo is very accurate IF you have stock setup. now if you changed gearing, then you need a recalibrator. i run a international gear with johnson engineering sport gear so i have to use a badlands speedo recalibrator. when i drop third, i have no speedo left. at 5k, the speedo is pegged out and still 2.5k to go.
You must be one of the lucky few because every Harley I've ever had with the stock setup has been off 3-5%.
Having read the better part of both threads now, my advice to you is to sell the bike and buy a pretty pink Barbie car. A convertible maybe, so you can still feel the wind in your hair but without all the whatever it is that bothers you about motorcycles going on.
Or, keep the bike. Go back and revisit your posts, show some interest in the topics that YOU started, and attempt to learn something.
