Hi guys. I’ve decided to go down the LED route on my 2011 FXDB. I’ve replaced my headlight with a daymaker and the turn signals just seem dull compared to it. My research suggests that installing LED turn signals is not a massive job and I have a background in electronics so I’m not worried about soldering etc. My concern is with hyper flashing. To cancel out hyper flashing, I either need to bridge each blinker with a resistor or replace the relay to a suitable LED equivalent. I don’t want to use resistors because of the bulk and extra fart on required. Have any of you Harley gurus got any idea the specification or model number of the system relay I need to use. Cheers and beers. Chris.

Hello old chap, from elsewhere in the UK. I used a Badlands ballast, which is wired into the existing bike indicator wiring and sorts everything out. Before doing that however, check the LED product you use, as it may come with integral resistors.

thanks for that. I’ll look into it. The daymaker has the built in resistor, but the turn signals I’m looking at do not.Originally Posted by grbrown
