Default '76 FLH Starter Relay Question

I'm helping my dad get his Liberty Edition back on the road. We have a complete repair manual for the FLH and reviewed the wiring diagram. We found the tan wire from the starter relay was melted from the relay to the + on the battery, and from the relay all the way through the harness to the switch. (doesn't look like it damaged any of the other wires). Since we are replacing the wire, figured we might as well also replace the relay (which is located under the battery). Question 1) The original OEM relay has 3 post coming from it (pic attached). The two tan wires (to the battery and to the switch) are both coming from one of the larger post. The green wire is coming from the other large post and the diagram shows it going to the starter. The black wire is coming from the 3rd, small post to the ground. The new relays found on line, all have 4 posts. (pic attached) Two small and two large. I would assume that the green should still be attached to one of the larger...any suggestions on the 4th post? Instead of both leads for the tan coming from the same posts, are they now split up? I hope the relay comes with a wiring diagram. Question 2) any suggestions on the gauge wire I should use for wiring the relay? Thanks for any input.

The 4th post doesn't get used. It's for automotive applications.
BTY. Don't know where you got your relay but for the future, early Ford pickup truck relays are exactly the same and cost a lot less then a Harley specific relay.
