Garmin 396 LTM-S is installed on my 2017 Road King. Took off the headlight, found 3 dead end plugs, only one had power and ground, I used that one. A blueish and black wire, 12v. Did not do much research. The HD parts guy said it should be ok. and so far so good. Now i need to learn how to use the GPS. I will still be mostly using road maps, GPS is my back up. The Garmin wires tuck in nicely in the headlight housing, and the GPS mount works. A nice neat job, Thanks go to the people who posted here and on you tube, The Garmin company is not much help, seeing that they do not know our bikes.

Is this the plug you used? I'm looking to do the same.
Where did you buy the connector to fit the stock plug?
