red light on speedometer coming on
I relocated my license plate from the fender to axle and installed a running light / brake light assembly to a 2015 Fatboy Lo I ran a 3 wire harness and spliced into main harness before rear taillight connector to get power for brake light and running light negative connected directly to battery. After riding for a few minutes light on dash comes on and neither brake light works. Question is what type of load equalizer do I need to add to this harness and do I need to do the same for running lights?

If the new lightings LED? Thats the problem. The low current draw looks like a bulb is out to the ECU.
You might be able to program it to seethe LEDs yourself. Someone should be able to help you.

yes brake light/tail light/license plate light so problem solved had grounded light to battery moved ground common ground on frame and red security light on dash stayed off. Changed out rear tail light lens to low profile so I had to change bulb to led . Also changed bulb on the axle license plate light to led problem solved!!
