I just installed 16” Paughcos on my 17 street bob. The new bars have leds in the corners. I also installed the badlands le-cb hard wire load equalizer to compensate for the draw of power. My problem is. I get power to the ground wire on left side. The right side has running light but no blinker. And nothing on the left side. Unless I ground the ground wire to the handle bar. Any help would be appreciated. Also a mechanic at hd told me I would have to hook it up to a computer to tell bcm that it has leds
You've probably just wired them wrong, have you looked at the instructions for the turn signal wiring, does it match up to the bike? If the stock ones worked before, something you've done isn't right. If you have a test light, check for running power and turn signal power on the bike side, and make sure it lines up through the plug (I'm assuming it's still a plug) to whatever colors the lights use.
