Digital odometer

Default Digital odometer
The display on my digital odometer is super dim. Can barely read the numbers. Any ideas on how to correct?
This is on a 1998 Sportster XL1200

Problem appears to be in the ignition switch. If I jiggle the key just right the odometer works.
