Twice I have been rolling out them miles and suddenly without warning as I'm coming to a stop my '05 Ultra Classic FLHTCUI just dies. After I pull and check all fuses which none of them are blown and I use a test light I can then start the bike and be on my way. I have no clue what could be causing this?? So I'm curious that after pulling and checking all the fuses, could there be some way something is being reset??, which allows the bike to start. Also, I only check the fuses on the left side of the bike none on the right. I have tried to chase each wire I can get to to check for a ground short or anything, I can't find anything. The only thing I haven't tried is DTC's.
Really need some help.
Steve
Know issue is the neutral safety switch causing this intermittent problem on your clutch side switch pack. Wifes Softail Deluxe had the same issue. I replaced the Micro switch and havent had this issue since.

Hope this helps
Did they have that interlock in 05? Even so it doesn't effect a running bike, it is a permission to start a bike.
