Is there a question you would like to ask, or are you just making an announcement?

Off to a good start here.

The TSM resets with a key off and on. If it doesn't, replace it.

Since it cuts fuel pump off if bike tilts to far over and measures resistance for signal light system to detect a burnt out bulb, if there is a problem there, this could affect it but should not show up as a code as the TSM.
When a bike has a alarm, this unit becomes even more complicated shutting off bike and preventing a start and flashes lights along with a siren if it also has that.

If someone takes a bike with the alarm set and takes out the TSSM and puts a TSM in it, my guess is that does not fix the ECM and speedometer that the TSSM wrote to in the past.

More then likely, this will require a dealer with Harley's software and computer to mate it to the bike.

Straight to the point. Your answer and thread over and out.

If you're using a Dyna TSSM/TSSM in a Sportster, lay the Sportster on it's side and the tip message will go away...

Two posts in and making friends and influencing people.

Now that is an interesting possibility. If a DYNA died and woke up in a Sporty body, it would think it had fallen to a lower level?

lol its just oriented wrong. Dynas get mounted laying down, touring and XL standing up. So kick the bike over and she’ll fire right up.

Old Softails are Horizontal. What about the case of a stolen Sporty that had a TSSM set and someone took a stolen or crashed DYNA with a TSM non-alarm and put it in the Sporty. Is it that easy to fix their problem or would the ECM and Speedometer also have to be replaced?

There is a one-digit number difference between the two modules but fish does imply orientation difference.

Not me...I don't even cheat at the Walmart self check out on RIP's framboises. We see numerous posts like this and I just wondered how hard the mother ship makes it for crooks to get away with it.
