ihave a 2007 sportster 883 with 1200 kit. had the ecm reflashed withe 1200 stage1. my engine and battery lights came on and shops diagnostic found no codes. put in a new battery that went dead in 24 hours. tried to jump start it with battery from my car and it started but the rpms went crazy high and i had to shut it off. please help

 

Charge the battery and listen for a sound behind the air cleaner. There was a problem in those years with a relay getting wet and the IAC motor continuing to cycle with the bike off - drains the battery. Most prevalent in bikes that go in rain or washed heavily.
