Not sure what year Dynas this will apply to (maybe 99-06?). Had no speedometer function u less my clutch was depressed or I was at idle. I cleaned my speed sensor (was dirty) still didn’t fix it. I then replaced the voltage regulator and that fixed it. Just wanted to pass it along in case anyone else had a similar issue.

 

I had a 1999 Dyna Convertible that had that problem along with cam bearings going out. I sold that bike and never fixed the speedo problem. Interesting
