Default Cirius Engine Guard Light wire up

I just installed LED Cirius lights in the engine guards. Simple wires coming off them, black ground and white. I want to hook them up to the auxiliary plug under the seat, which works off the auxiliary switch. There are four wires in that plug, red (1), red/yellow (2), orange (3), and black (4) on the Detusch plug. Can someone tell me which two colors to tie into for this? Bike is a 2010 Ultra Classic. Give me a structural sketch, no problem, electrical, forget it. Yes I have a manual, no help to me, looked and can't find it, closest I seen was schematic B-20, just couldn't see it.I hate wiring, dad was an electrician and you'd think some would have rubbed off on me, nope lol. I remember him building a welding machine and building it ground up, including winding the transformer, smart man. And don't want to get in under the batwing, probably screw something up in there. Thanks in advance.

Are you wanting these to be " on " when the engine is running or to function as turn indicators also? For solely running lights, look for an orange wire with a white stipe somewhere on your bike( check under your seat). That should be a switched power source( ignition on= juice, ignition off= no juice ). Test that wire to be sure and then all you will need to do is ground somewhere....Or look about 6'' back from your headlight plug for two wires( orange w/white stripe and a black wire), they should already have blade connectors on them. Same thing, ignition on = juice, ignition off= no juice.

Just to work when I put the auxiliary switch is turned on. Been reading and looks like it may be the orange in that connector, not sure if it has a white strip on it.

The Orange wire in that plug is powered when the ignition switch is in accessory or ignition position, and the switch in the fairing is on....That`s the one you want to tie in to.

The Orange/Red wire will be powered whenever the ignition switch is in the accessory or ignition position.

The Red/Yellow wire is a brake light wire.

The Black wire is ground.

It`s all there in the wiring diagram, you just have to follow the wires...

There is no reason to cut or splice into wires on these bikes...the factory gives plenty of places to simply add on.

The service manual will tell you what type connector and color (color must be the same or they won`t go together).

The accessory connector is 4 A/B. Just buy the other half of the connector and make up a two wire connection (Orange and Black).

Howdy - Harley quoted me 3 hours labor to install these lights. My three concerns about doing it myself are 1) how difficult was it to drill the pilot holes for the mounting screws 2) how hard to fish the lights through the engine guard, and finally how to hook them up to the auxiliary switch? Any feedback greatly appreciated.

I marked my lights on the bike where I liked the position. Took my guard off and drilled and tapped on the work bench. I fished my wire with coat hanger to the aux plug under the seat. Just take your time, all is good. I like the lights you can tell people waiting at corners to pull out actually see you..............so far lol.
