Speedo.
Hi all. I have an 85 electraglide, naked. Someone has changed the tank and I have what appears to be an electronic speedo. I know nothing about these. Is there an easy way to get it working. Thanks

Assuming you still have the mechanical drive unit on front axle, it would be far easier to purchase a mechanical speedo & cable.
The electronic units drive of a sensor mounted on the tranny and I`m betting your transmission case has no provision to add one as well nothing inside to provide the signal

What is it hooked up to now? I would assume it needs some type of pickup attached as a reader off the wheel. Sure there is some aftermarket complete unit out there. Or like suggested, go back to OEM. Ebay is your friend.
