I just got my bike back from the tuner on Friday night, and yesterday we got to take it for a ride. When we started out, i noticed the radio would cut out a bit while riding. We rode about a hour away, and stop for some lunch. After about a hour we got back on the bike to head back, and the radio just kept cutting out, screen would flash to black, and back on, non stop the whole way home. Got home and went to check the fuses, and found this. What would cause this?
What year is this bike? In about 2017-2019 models there was an issue with the maxi fuse terminals being a little loose that would cause exactly that issue.
Thanks for the info guys. I did get a new fuse, die electric grease and some contact cleaner. I sprayed the cleaner in there couple times and left it dry, good. Put some grease on the fuse blades, and reinstalled the fuse. So far, so good. Also had the voltage regulator check, and it was fine. Is there a updated Maxi fuse holder, to replace it, if it fails again? Thanks Guys.
