LED's dim over time. Technically a 10 year old Daymaker should not be as bright as a new version. Has anybody experienced this?

 

you are correct in that leds dim over time. the usual life span is when they can only achieve 70% of their rating. barring an electrical issues, you can use a light meter to determine how close they come to their original rating.
