I am switching my 2008 Fat Bob to a single headlight and I went the "ballin' on a budget" route and it gently bit me in the *** again. The headlight housing I got is very nice and SAID it was plug and play with my bob, but has a female H4 connection at the end that is supposed to connect to the harness.
Is there a name for the style connector shown on the right in the pic? Also, below is a link to the HD light housing with the male side shown in the pic.
Thank you in advance, will reward with before and after pics.
If your asking about the Headlamp connector, it is an Amp 4 place Multilock. If not show the wire colors so we could check schematics.
Thank you for the reply. My local Harley was not interested in telling me what the connector was called, just in selling me their headlight assembly.
Here are the pictures I have in order. Current stock headlight connection, new H4 male end, and the instructions that came with the housing.
My preference would be to buy a new Amp 4 multilock to H4 harness (like the one that comes with the 90 dollar housing) and wire it up that way, but if worst came to worst (if it is possible, I suppose I could cut the old headlight harness and solder the male connection to the new headlight. Am I even making sense? Do you have suggestions?

Here is a link to Ronnie's HD an online parts catalog. In the parts diagram below you need 1 - 28, part # 73154-96BK and I'd get 6 or 10 of 29, part # 73191-96 the terminals, extra incase you make some bad crimps. Good luck.
Maybe its for a different bike. That plug on the paper looks like the plug on my 07 SG. What does the other end of your plug look like that connects to your stock light. Im sure theres a way to make it work but Im no help with that.
