Bulb cross reference
I have a 1984 FLHTC Late model (Evolution) and wan to find the correct bulb replacement for OEM 685165-64. I have seen people say 1157, 2057, 3157 etc...
Does anyone have a conversion chart or where to find one? I have done the Google, revzilla, j&p cycles but all of them push the led lights. I just want to keep the original setup. Thanks in advance for any help.

I too, have hoped to find a cross reference , but in 50 years of searching found nothing. I have made my own, based on replacing bulbs from original. I can tell you a 68165-64 is definitely a 1157, the brighter or longer lasting variants are good and won't tax the charging system. But you have to watch that if you upgrade a few bulbs what the limits are. if you're running a 32 amp system, no worries.
