2013 Street Glide that has been sitting for about 2 months while I was overseas. Went to start her up the other day and i had to jump it off. After it started, every time I would give it a little throttle the radio would cutoff and start back after I released. Then as it ran longer the bike eventually shut down and wouldn't restart. Just wanted any experience out there if it could be something other than the battery.

 

Did you jump it off from a running vehicle? Did you jump it using any kind of battery booster?

When you say it would not restart,do you mean it will turnover but not fire?

What is the battery voltage at rest? Battery voltage while trying to restart?

 

Im going to recheck the voltage this afternoon. It was sitting about 10.6 yesterday. And when I say wouldn't restart. Nothing. No power, just a slight ticking noise.

 

Charge the battery and have it load tested, if it is over 3 years old, just buy a new battery.
