Powerwash Blues
New owner of an old softail... 1985 Harley Davidson Softail FXST: Been riding daily for the last 3 months, no problems at all until 2 days ago. I powerwashed the bike (never again, I swear) and it will not start. No lights, no dash indicators, no electric of any sort. Immediately after washing it, I tried to start it up. The Dash lit up, as usual, and when I turned the ignition, there was a solid "CLICK" or "CLUNK" and then everything went dark. Since then nothing...No lights, no dash, nothing electrical. Battery is fully charged. Any ideas?

Also unplug the ECM to check for water. If its wet blow it out with compressed air and use some dialectic grease on it.
Then check fuses including the main (Maxi Fuse).
