Unhappy new speedo/tach

Just bought a new spedo/tach for my 2010 roadking. Got everything ready to go program and in true IDIOT fashion I hooked up the new speedo to the harness instead of the data cable. When I turned it on to download I got a "NO CAL" (no calibration) on the new speedo. As soon as I realized what I did I turned off the ignition and hooked it up correctly. Upon restarting the new speedo wouldn't power up. The old speedo and everything else work fine still. Has anyone ever done anything this stupid? Or maybe have any ideas? I will probably have to send it in but would appreciate any help. No need to tell me I screwed up. I already Know that.

Talked to a buddy of mine (harley tech) and he said to tell you to go ahead and send it back. There is nothing you're able to do with it at this point. Sorry man...
