Bright *** Lights serial number?
Does anyone know where to find the serial number on my BAL on my 2005 Dyna? Half the LEDs (right hand side) have failed and I need the s/n for warranty service.

It should be on the back of the light.

Half light is fail-safe mode, not led failure. The light's brain thinks something isn't doing what its supposed to and tripped this so you don't ride around without a brake light. Kinda like if your stock light could give you the headsup BEFORE your bulb blows not after. Ingenious. No way to reset though they have to do it.
The serial number is on the box too. Mine looks like 30R-00000.

Mine just did the same thing - the right 2 LED's are out. I do like the fact that they built in a fail-safe mode, but I don't like the fact that my $250 tail light didn't last as long as an incandescent bulb. 
The warranty is 5 years, and if this happens every two years I'm going to be pissed.
