Unhappy Starter Relay Location?

Alright folks, I just got a digital guard dawg proximity type security system for my 2012 Fatbob. It looks like an easy install if I could just find the starter relay. The directions that came with the system show a 2006< dyna pic, but its doesn't look like what's behind my left side cover. Can anyone help me find the starter relay on my 2012 Fatbob? Please help!

No starter relay like older models; Starter Solenoid Power is provided by the BCM (Body Control Module).

I spoke with the dealer and they told me the same as the other guy responding to this thread, there is no starter relay on our bikes. The eliminated that part. I guess u and I are SOL when it comes to a digital guard dog. I've already ship mine back to JP Cycles.

Default 14 breakout

Hey guys/gals.
I'm new to this site.My bike has been in storage for the winter in the shed but I try to fire it up for a few minutes every 2 weeks. It's always on a battery tender during storage. The other day I go out, ignition on,lights bright, cranks 2-3 times then starts clicking. Battery load tested at 2 different places, they said it was good. Also, normally hear fuel prime, not been hearing that.I would appreciate any help

Sounds like a bad battery or loose cable. See if you can jump start it to confirm.

Turn the key on and you should hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds. Like above check connections first, put a voltmeter on your battery terminals and hit the start button, if it falls below 9.6 volts it's time to replace it.

OK what year did they eliminate the relay? My bike is a 2000 Dyna FXD and I was thinking the relay was why I get clicking sometimes. It always does start, but the first time after sitting for a few days I get the click a couple of times. Brand new Battery. So still looking.

When troubleshooting, always do the cheap easy stuff first.

Remove both battery cables and clean the contact surfaces, also clean the contact surface at the starter solenoid.

Clean the terminals at the starter relay.
