Two issues looking for an answer?
I had my bike painted this winter, with that said, I had my Indy take the fuel gauge out to paint the tank, the gauge worked fine before he removed it.
Now after the gauge goes to 5/8s of a tank after 50 or so miles, I have to use my trip odometer to determine where my fuel level is.
Is this a nature of the beast, or do I need to get another fuel gauge.
I also had him put a oil temperature gauge on.
It worked fine till he put a new faceplate on, now the gauge doesn't work well, when it's hot it will go to about 110F. Highest it will go!
Final issue here, I added extended lower bags when I repainted the bike, and put 6X9 on the inside lower rear of the bag, I also added
I purchased used Street Glide saddlebag mounts from this guy!
I also purchased Custom Dynamics Plasma rods, well, I Found out there is a different measurement from the left side bag to the right side, meaning the right side has a different measurement from the filler to the saddlebag of about 1/4 inch, so my Plasma Rods on the Left side of the bike rub the left saddlebag, when I questioned my Indy, he stated there are never 2 bikes the same concerning being symmetrical there is always a difference, therefore, you cannot use the plasma rods!
I would like some answers to go back to the guy and find out why my stuff is not working!!!!!
