Default Control wiring

I've ran into a snag doing my internal wiring on my replacement bars. The bars have holes & dimples but can't seem to get the wiring to fit well under the control clamps , what do you guys think ?

I'd like to releave the area between the hole and dimple , little worried about doing it with the wires in place meaning I'd have to pull it all back apart. Should I try it as is ? The throttle side went on but vary tight ( 2nd pic ) I haven't torqued it to spec yet either.

You need to move the controls back so the clamp fits over the trough created by the dimpling. If you don't do that you will crimp the wires and have big problems. Just slide the controls back...the wire needs to exit in the dimpled area.

Thanks for the tip , I tried moving them but it seems I have to move them back too much and I still don't like how it's looking. These are aftermarket bars from J&P .

I think the 90 deg bend they make going into the hole is just too much angle ,so I'm going to blend the hole into the dimple making it more of af slot than a hole.
