Exclamation identification help!!!

I inherited my uncles 05 softail springer classic(injected), I called his local dealer and all the could tell me was the last time it was in for tires and brakes.

anyway my question is; how can I identify whether or not the bike has the 95"kit(stage2?) or cam work done. all of his buddies are convinced that he had it done. im just not sure what to look for. I want to got a different route with pipes and a tuner. im not sure if there is an easy way to identify these parts/work, and figured i would check here before i take it into my local dealership and see what they can come up with.

Thanks in advance guys

Since the bike is fuel injected, if displacement has been increased it most likely has a tuner of some kind. I'm not sufficiently familiar with softails to know where the mechanic would have put the small box but with Dynas they are usually placed under the seat near the battery.
Another option short of tearing in to the engine is to test hp and tq on a dyno. Shops that have dynos will usually give you a baseline run for $30 (at least in my neck of the woods). Once you know hp and tq, you will have a better sense whether any performance modifications have been made.

Unless there is branding on the cylinder it won't be easy to confirm if it has been bored. jmb's suggestion is the best way to at least discover if it has been modified in some way. Of course the simplest way is to see paperwork relating to the purchase of parts from a tuning shop! Is there any chance you can locate your uncle's service records, bills etc for that bike?

Do you have a way to check compression?

That is where I would start. If work was done at a dealer, run the VIN and it should show up.
