Default Help with intake manifold

Hello, I have a 2001 Carb'ed 95" Road King that has 1.770 intake openings on the heads. I have been running with the stock intake. I'm looking into replacing the intake with one that would fit better. This does have the hole for a map sensor. Does anyone know what intake I should use and do you have any part numbers? thanks.

Hey Kirby, will anything need to be done to the intake before I mount it on the bike? Do you have everything I need to make the switch and how much for everything?

I've been reading and it looks like I need to get the U ring for that manifold too. Will the flanges and gaskets I'm using now work with that intake?

Flanges will work but with a 1.770 intake port size I suspect that you will need thinner flange seals as the OD on the spigot jumps from about 1.81 to 1.91.. SnS has thinner flange seals as does cometic.. SnS number is 16-0235 single

If running the 16-1722 manifold you will also need the 16-0242 carb seal if running a CV40 or HSR42. You can use an HD rubber version that allows a CV40 to fit the CV44 SE manifold.. With running a 1.77 manifold and heads, it might be a good idea to move up to an HSR45 or larger carb.. 1.77 inches is about 45mm. You'd probably be missing out on some flow..

OK I have been trying to find the S&S 16-1722 Manifold to purchase but I'm not having any luck finding anyone that has it in stock. Do any of you know of a place that may have it in stock? Thanks.
