Default Chris Rivas Cams?

I was looking around the internet for bike parts the other day, and the "Crane Cams" brand name caught my attention. All of my buddies and I mourned the loss of Crane Cams- it was a very sad day in the gearhead world...... I was not aware they were back in business, and I saw the title "Chris Rivas Rocket Cams with EZ Start Feature; Made by Crane Cams". EZstarts+CraneCams=confused..... I found his page here
I see three grinds that look pretty healthy, but the EZ start feature has me thinking. I thought that was a patented S&S thing? Can anyone shed any light on the subject?

S&S bought Crane Cams. At least the bike cams. I have no idea what became of the automotive end of it.

Huh, makes sense. Glad to hear someone is keeping the name going!

The sale of Crane from S&S became final as of 12/31/14.
S&S had a big blow-out sale of remaining inventory back in December.
Crane, at this point, no longer is involved with the motorcycle industry.
