88 cam question

Have 06 flhtc 88 ,does it have hyd or spring cam tenisoners, and cage bearings or koyo timkin bearings

Pretty sure only the only '06 that has the hydraulic tensioners is the Dyna, as in "(except 2006 Dyna® models)". As far as the bearings, plan on replacing them.

You have sprung tensioners.All the cam bearings are flat/roller/caged type-not tapered "Timkin" type.

I think you might mean Koyo "Torrington" style bearings, which have the roller-to-roller interface without the metal cages in-between. Timkins are actually a tapered-style bearing like you find in fork necks and the older bikes used them in the wheels.

Regardless of what you meant, you have the caged INA bearings and I always replace 'em if I'm in there for any reason.
