Default Didn't predict that...

I really didn't think that a 4* change in the intake valve closing would jump me from what I was told at 195-200 ccp. When I did my calculations with the w8 cam it only came to 198 psi and with the new cam it should have only came up to 206 psi but my actual measured is 225 psi and I also tried a second gauge to confirm. If I decide to keep the new cam I will probably have to knock down the cr with either a .045 or .060 head gasket. For the time being I am gonna drop some VP fuel in it, knock the ignition curve to 3 or 4 with the D2ki ignition to see what it's producing on the dyno and go from there. will have it running thursday night and maybe on the dyno saturday. I didn't think that detonation could be that damaging.

Have you checked the tops of your pistons with a remote scope?

No I didn't, I don't have a scope. But the leak down and compression test was a positive indication that none of the valves bent.
