Default Engine Swap

I have an 07 Heritage softail engine. I bought an 2010 road King cop bike with a bad engine. Will the 07 softail engine go in the rubber mount 2010 Road King frame.

The engine from the Heritage is a "B" which means it has the counterbalancer system. Mounts for the Softail and a Touring frame are also different.

You can't interchange engines because they are two different engines; the touring bike is an A and the softail is a B motor. There's a counter balancer on the B motor that's in the way of mounting.

Harley makes two twin cam engines. The "A" model which is designed to run in the Dyna and Touring platforms and the "B" model which is designed to run in the Softail platform. The softail motor is internally balanced and the mounting points are in a different configuration not to mention a couple of other small differences.

Yes, the major differances are all located in the lower block and mounting as said before. The jugs/uppers will interchange.
