Engine Mechanical TopicsDiscussion for motor builds, cams, head work, stripped bolts and other engine related issues. The good and the bad. If it goes round and around or up and down, post it here.
I inquired in regards to this on another message board, and again knowing that this is not the place for this, but just can't resist.
One response was an engine that is void of "rods"..........and has a big tranny...........bwhahahah.....
What do you folks suspect?
Scott
It's tranny can go both ways
It has been way over-modded
it will probably not get the lube it wants
It will have a BIG exhaust pipe, until it gets some staggered..
The intake will definitely need a 'rain cover'
It will be re-worked to only have one head
The next mod will be a 'blacked out' body
It will not have a red-line
It is very popular on the market today re: the Moochie
It will be called the 'De-Cathy'
The seat of the pants feel might show something's 'missing' after the rebuild, unless it's a 'top end' only rebuild. Synthetic oil will have to be used to keep her properly lubed if the bottom end gets done. With the pipe removed the exhaust will be as close to 2 into 1 as it can get. After a total rebuild it then becomes a finicky high maintenance item, be ready for weeping and blown gaskets too.
