I am in the process of replacing my rear rocker gaskets and I am having a difficult time putting the box back in place. I am not sure if it needs to be a specific gear or what. Anybody can explain it to me in simple terms I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks !

why would it need to be in gear ? you are installing rocker cover, just a finesse thing, if it came off, it'll go back on.
In simple terms, there are three parts to the rocker boxes, the lower box (bolts to the head), the rocker arm supports (supports the rocker shafts and arms) and the upper box or cover.
Which part is giving you trouble?
Please clarify and I am sure someone on this forum will offer a suggestion that will solve your problem.
