First, not the point; the post title is 113" but the motor is a 120"

Second, the 125/130 numbers are from a "preliminary" tune. The motor has not been tuned which indicates that the OP expects higher number when he returns for the "final" tune and for a 113", I don't think the 125/130 will improve that much. However, we now know thanks to gtrracer's catch that the motor is a 120" which does explain the higher numbers for a preliminary tune and those numbers will likely improve with the final tune.

Third, I am not a resident guru. Scott and Kirby have earned that status; I am but a lowly DIY shade tree grease monkey.

There is a fellow on the CVO site that has one of our set ups.
He also runs a 30T trans sprocket on that.
RC Cycles certainly knows what they are doing.
Bob Lobenburg is one of the best tuners in the country, if I was asked that question.
We always reccomend them to our clients if they are even remotely close to them.
Scott
And that's exactly how I found them.
Thanks scott!

Hi djl, I honestly hope you don't think I was mocking you. I respect the knowledge that you share with everyone here in HD Forums and I truly believe you are in a catagory above average when it comes to HD's. A few times you have acknowledged my efforts to help and that was quite gratifying Thank you...Sorry if I offended you. Bob...

No worries Bob. I am not that thin skinned and thanks for the note of respect but I am still a DIY shade tree grease monkey. I was just pointing out the discrepancy between the reported dyno numbers and where the came from.

Okay Bob says the tune is done, other schools of thought say the motor will make a little more once it is broken in. I am happy with the power, the numbers, the sound, but most of all the rideability. I might go back at 2500 miles when I start to run the synthetic with a fresh set of plugs and have Bob squeeze a couple more ponies.

Had I been there no f-ing way my fresh motor would have turned 6k. 125/131 is sure to pick up 2-3 when the motor spins easier. Bob says its done Ron says tune it again when it has some miles/ loosens up. Two Guru's with their own ideas. IMHO and experience I break in my motors like they're made of fine china and I've had high mile runner after runner.

Ron says the 662-1's will make more but in turn reduce the reliability......I average 10k and year, hence I'll take Ron's wisdom and ride with it.

Just rambling........................

Huge dip between 2k-2700 rpm. Could that be the pipe?

Nice numbers though. enjoy...

I rode over 600 miles prior to seeing the dyno results and was shocked to see the dip. The roll-on out of the hole requires attention to broad crosswalk paint, smooth, oily or just not standing her straight up or she'll spin the tire.

My wife has been riding on my right wing for years and tolerates the sound level with this set up. I am sure a 2-1 would flatten the bottom with a price to pay in noise, cost for a ghost pipe (stretched bags) and making the ride look better on paper just isn't worth it today but there is always tomorrow :-)
