Bike has 39k miles
Unknown maintenance history
I got the bike and test rode it then after it sat for a 1.5 years(got it when my dad past)
Finally found time to do some work on it and went to start it up for the first in over a year and I have a ticking noise now.
I'm going to pull the exhaust/cam cover off when I get off work and check the cam tensioners but not sure if I'm headed in the right direction.
Here's a short clip. Video is horrible but I was only trying to capture the audio. Noise gets faster with rpms. The video makes it sound louder than it is.
Collapsed lifter; not pumping up and taking up the lash in the valve train. After sitting that long, it eventually might pump up but a set of Comp Cams VThunder 850.1 lifters is very reasonable, about $65 to your door. Replace them all as well as the push rod tube O-rings.

That's kinda what I thought. How long should I let it run to build up before I call it?
