Bore your stock cylinders, port your stock heads, in my neck of woods is close to $1700 and no cams, pistons, pushrods, gaskets etc. Depends where you live how much it will be , unless you wanna drive to Fuel Motto you cant beat there prices even with install.

You are getting ripped off. Bore cylinders and fit new pistons; just had a set done for a 98" build by Lozano Brothers for $550 out the door with CP pistons and an extra set of heavier pins. Head work by Lozano will run about $800 including new head gasket. Me thinks you need to look for another shop if you are paying $1700 for a bored set of cylinders sans pistons and head porting.:iconk_doh: Or start sending your stuff out to Scott or Kirby..................

Heads with shipping $1000 ( Jonny Sachs) bore cylinders with Wiseco pistons $600-700 at least here from any local guy. Your Lozano Bros is $550 plus heads $800 thats not that far off from what it costs up here. You could probably swing a cash deal in the off season for less . Ive run JS heads forever no complaints here Ill pay the shipping or extra . Not tring to be argumentative just stating the costs as I know them in my area. Appreciate your posts you know your sh+t on all things engine related.

Sachs is one of the best; highly respected and low profile like Mike Lozano. I wasn't being argumentative either, just saw $1700, no pistons and that is out of line no matter where you are.

Back in early 2000 I had a set of heads from Bill Bishop ( Hammer Heads) not to shabby either but JS is the man and has been for myself and many others in my neck of the woods.
