Hey guys, new harley rider here. I bought a street bob with manual compression release valves. Wondering if you guys can suggest any electric valves, and how do these wire in? Thanks!
Not sure of your year and application but these may replace your manual releases near the spark plug and there may be a way to plug in the auto release

What model year? Unless a '14 model with the 103" motor installing and wiring auto compression releases (ACRs) is not worth the time and money and no reason to abandon the manual releases. ACR are fitted in the center of the head on the 103" motors but the heads on the 96" motors are not drilled for ACRs. You would have to acquire a set of 103" heads, or remove the 96" heads to drill and tap for ACRs. You would also need the ACR electrical harness. The ECM on the later models has a feature to activate the ACRs with a compatible tuner or the ACRs can be activated by a dealer.
The ACRs can also be wired into the starter/solenoid or even to the horn button; they are simple two wire devices.
In any event, a lot of work and $$ just for the convenience of not having to reach in and push a couple of buttons. I run manuals on both my bikes and have considered ACRs but the cost-benefit relationship is bas ackwards IMHO.........

I don't see any problems with the MCR`s you have now,but if you have to have ACR`s,get late heads with them already machined in,we do the ACR machining, but its really hardly worth it,ACR heads are a dime a dozen
